  • Nerida Groth

    PRODUCER - ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

    Nerida Groth is a producer and creative director with over two decades of experience across film, live performance, and large-scale events. With a sharp instinct for trends and pop culture, she has a gift for bringing people together through bold, community-driven activations.

    As co-founder of Goldy’s, Nerida has become a key advocate for the Gold Coast’s LGBTQI+ arts scene, using events as a platform to celebrate and empower queer voices.

    Under her leadership, Goldy’s has received RADF grants to deliver vibrant community productions across multiple Gold Coast locations, and in 2025 produced “Wunderbar” —the city’s most ambitious queer arts party at HOTA, supported by the EGC Arts Fund.

    Her work combines creativity with precision. From her years programming iconic Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parties (2004–2008) to her recent Gold Coast initiatives,

    Nerida believes in community production as a vital artform for an emerging city, using collaboration and creativity to nurture identity, inclusivity, and cultural growth.

  • Leah Howard

    CREATOR - CHOREOGRAPHER

    Leah has worked extensively in front of and behind the scenes as a creative artist, performer, choreographer, resident director and creative director.

    She is a unique triple threat and has established herself as one of the best at what she does. She has a long list of lead roles in major Australian theatre productions, as a Choreographer she is diverse and sought after working with a range of artists from High 5 to Baker Boy.

    As a resident Director she’s taken some of Australia’s biggest shows all around the world. Leah is well known and loved in the industry, she is a creative force with an unmistakable positive energy that everyone wants to be around!

  • Scott Ogier

    DESIGNER - ANIMATOR

    Scott has a long list of credits working in the performing arts industry. He was an established musical theatre performer for nearly a decade working for Harry M Miller, Gordon Frost, Grayboy Entertainment, Victorian State Opera and children’s stage producer Garry Ginivan.

    He has also been a professional musical director and of late a creative director - writing and producing theatre and events for Grayboy Entertainment. He has helped produced over a dozen theatrical productions over the last two decades.

    On top of all of this, he is also a freelance motion and graphic designer working on theatrical set design, motion and graphic design, animation, photography, videography and film editing.

  • Kath Gourley

    PRODUCER - EVENTS

    Kath is a passionate events & experiences professional. She is also a warm, dedicated and caring human who believes success is a team activity and connection is everything. So of course she works in the arts.

    Kath has enjoyed a 20+yr career in the entertainment & events industry. From producing corporate events for Miami Marketta on the Gold Coast to touring entertainment ambassador for Australia’s largest beer brand XXXX beer, Kath loves the broad spectrum that the entertainment world can encompass.

    Starting one of the first musical theatre & dance based agencies in Sydney for Grayboy Entertainment is still one of Kath’s career highlights. This hugely successful agency guided some pretty special careers in the Australian entertainment scene.

    Kath loves nothing more than to see artists shine and will do her best to facilitate those opportunities wherever she can.

  • Troy Woodcroft

    CREATIVE DIRECTOR / MARKETING

    Troy is a seasoned creative with over 25 years of experience across stage and screen, both internationally and in Australia. From his standout role as Jonathan Drench in Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom the Musical to his recent work with the Assistant Directors team on the iconic ELVIS movie, Troy is a versatile talent who thrives in any creative medium.

    In theatre, Troy starred in original productions of Beauty and the Beast (with Hugh Jackman), RENT, and as Peter in PAN. He also choreographed and directed the opening and closing ceremonies for the Arafura Games. His directorial debut in New York saw him mentoring the Broadway For All program.

    On screen, Troy starred alongside Magda Szubanski in Dog Woman! and appeared in The Scutterbugs and Una and Jacques. He also presented and produced segments for Big Review TV in New York.

    With an unmistakable creative eye, Troy has been instrumental in designing the art and marketing for Goldy’s events.

  • Nicola Ossher

    EVENT MANAGER

    Nicola has been working in various event management roles over the last 10 years. With her passion and experience in the music world, Nicola brings a unique perspective and skill set to events, whether it be a music festival, corporate or community event. Nicola provides a range of event services including event coordinator and management roles, production and stage management, artist liaison, entertainment & logistics support.

    As a stage manager, Nicola has worked with the likes of Jenji Kohan, Ane Brun, Spike Jonze, Christine Anu, Marsha Hines, Guy Sebastian, Dami Im, Paul Mac, John Paul Young, Shepard Fairey, Oliver Stone and Margaret Pomeranz.
